The Job

Service Warranty Technician - Utrecht

The Service Warranty Technician is responsible for processing 'Returned Merchandise Authorization' claims and making timely repairs on valid items.

Duties / Activities / Responsibilities:

- Working on European warranty claims (originating mainly in Germany)

- Maintaining organized documentation of technical claims

- Reporting technical claims to Canada

- Understanding when to issue the warranty or not

- Invoicing and issuing credit notes while keeping records

- Maintaining an organized inventory of spare parts and tools

- Ordering spare parts from China/Canada

- Keep a realistic and accurate delivery schedule of completed repairs from beginning to end

Knowledge / Education / Experience:

- Must be fluent in English, Dutch and German. All 3 languages.

- Preferably experienced in GAS powered appliances.

- Must have a technical background: Mid-level or bachelor (preferred)

- Must be extremely organized and professional in handling tools and resources

- The successful candidate must also be cognisant of safety measures, both personal and regarding the rest of the warehouse staff.
