Job description Senior Accountant / Team Leader Accounting

For our client – an international gas and oil company with an accounting office in Amsterdam – we are currently looking for a senior accountant who will lead a team of four.

Job requirements Senior Accountant / Team Leader Accounting

Preferably a registered accountant
10 years progressive experience in an international organization
Experience supervising a team
Oil and Gas experience required - an understanding of entitlement, royalties and reporting a significant asset
IFRS and Dutch GAAP with exposure to audit management
Exposure to treasury matters would be a strong preference (cash flow management and intercompany transactions)
Management reporting skills - G&A and other reforecasts & budgeting, financial and production variances, board updates (for the Amsterdam office and a couple of other internationally based entities).
Fluent Dutch language speaker with strong written/verbal skills in English
Experience with an accounting and consolidation system (preferably with SAP and HFM)
