BACKGROUND & PURPOSE OF ROLE

Kepak Convenience Foods (KCF) is the leading supplier to the Chilled Snacking category in Europe. Through the successful development of its brands – Rustlers, ZUGO’s Deli Caf?, Speedy Snacks & Feasters – it has built the UK Chilled Snacking category from approx €10m pre 2000 to >€130m today. Since 2008, KCF has been successfully expanding its business into selected European Markets with geographic presence now in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France and Denmark.

Rustlers is now the leading brand in its category across the Benelux region and is the only brand in the chilled convenience category to have listings across all major open market retail groups in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Having established its business in Belgium and the Netherlands, KCF is about to embark on the next phase of its growth strategy which will see it building a business of significant scale in the region. To support its growth plans, KCF is putting in place a Benelux commercial structure and is now looking to recruit a Commercial Co-Ordinator based in KCF’s head office in Dublin, to support the overall commercial team in the delivery of its growth agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be based in our Head Office in Dublin, with frequent opportunity to travel to Belgium and Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities include:

oSupporting our National Account Managers with all customer activity, including promotional activity, sales analysis & trade presentations
oPlanning Customer Meetings
oLiaise with NAMs & Supply Chain on a daily basis to monitor orders & identify issues/opportunities
oMaintain the Promotional Calendar and ensure the Forecast is aligned
oManaging the Spend file, raising PO's and tracking invoices/payments
oCo-Ordinate, Plan and Review all in-store activity in Belgium and the Netherlands alongside the NAM and Marketing Team
oManagement of the Nielson Data to ensure effective Category Analysis
oMinute taking at Benelux Commercial Meetings
oTo monitor Belgian and Dutch Trade Press and circulate relevant information to the Commercial Team

Candidate Profile

oFluent in Dutch, French and English
oEducated to degree level in a Business / Marketing discipline, post-grad preferable
o1-2 years’ experience preferable, potentially gained through an internship
oUpbeat, pro-active and helpful approach to work
oEager to build a career platform by learning quickly the workings of a commercial environment
oStrong track record of achievement in education / personal interests
oInternationally minded with an interest in European cultures
