Situated in Dundalk since 1987 National Pen is part of the National Pen Corporation whose Head Office is in San Diego, California. We are a Guaranteed Irish Company, with a work force in excess of 300. We provide business and professional companies with imprinted pens, pencils and other specialty items for their promotional and advertising needs. Through mail order marketing of our products we have successfully attained a reputation for quality within the industry. Our business is generated by using a combination of Direct Mail Marketing and Telemarketing and our product needs are serviced by our own on-site manufacturing facility.

National Pen supply 16 countries across Europe as well as the USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand with 18 working languages.

Bilingual Customer Service Agent (Inbound)

The Call Centre Agent is responsible for answering ‘pre’ and ‘after’ sales calls (B2B), in addition to mail order entry.

Functions:

Answering calls in relation to:
General information on products
Sample Product Requests
Placing a telephone order (entering order on line)
Order status
Shipping issues (tracing orders; returns pick up etc.)
Up-Selling mail orders
Responding to faxes and letters from Customers

BilingualUp-Selling / Cross-Selling Agent (Current / Existing Customers)

The Up-selling Agent is responsible for generating extra sales from existing customer orders.

Functions:

Calling customers from existing mail orders received
Offer customers (B2B) the best possible products that are suited to their needs by upselling and cross selling the relevant range of products
Entering orders on database and Up-Selling live to customer
Verifying the order and customer details on-line

Bilingual Credit Collections Agent

The main responsibility of the role is to maintain a ledger, reduce aging and document disputes.

Functions:

Handle high volume / low value ledger accounts to ensure collection goals are achieved
Ensure daily targets and deadlines are reached i.e. number of call activities logged etc.
Document customer comments re: payment date / disputes etc.
Ensure requested paperwork / documentation is forwarded to customers
Report issues to line manager to resolve problem accounts

Bilingual Sales Agent (Current / Existing Customers)

You will be required to sell a range of National Pen products to existing customers through telephone calling.

Functions:

Generating new business via warm calling
You will be calling existing customers (B2B) across your Market (your language) on a daily basis who have not ordered in a while
Calling through sales leads and following the cycle through to Sale closure
Make a high volume of calls to existing customers
Describe the product benefits and inform customers of any new products
Identify which products might best suit the customer and enter the order live on the phone
Achieving weekly targets – full training / coaching and support given

CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGER (CRM)

You deliver excellent customer service to large corporate key account clients by providing a daily key point of contact to establishing long-term customer relationships.

Functions:

Phoning customers from existing customer database and generating sales
Managing the relationship with existing customers by providing excellent customer service and maintaining the customer relationship with National Pen
Managing own sales activity
Ensuring samples/brochures, etc are forwarded on a timely basis if required by customers
Responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of your assigned customers
Primary contact for your assigned customers

Skills/Attributes/Requirements:

Minimum of 6 months experience in Customer Service Agent (Phone), Hotel (Reception or Sales), Insurance Agent (Phone or F2F) or Telesales Agent (Phone or F2F)
Skilled negotiator
Have the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
An energetic, self-starter who excels in interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
Self-motivated and goal oriented
Strong customer service and the desire to be successful exceed targets and integrate into a team-based organization
Accuracy is crucial
Be a good team player
Be fluent in one or more of the following languages: French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Japanese speaking
Ability to speak fluent ENGLISH

Those candidates who do not meet the education requirements but have strong French, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Finnish or Norwegian skills and call center or telesales experience, may still be eligible to participate under special circumstances.

Training

You will receive technical and product training for the first two weeks of your employment at National Pen.
During training, you will learn about our products and the systems that we use to run our business.
You will also meet other teammates who are new to National Pen as well.
At the end of your two week training, you will be certified to start engaging with National Pen customers. You must successfully pass this Certification programme.
During training your full week’s wage (except commission) will be paid.In addition to the technical and product training, you will receive a Supervisor to help guide you.

Job type:

Temporary full-time

Normal Hours of Work:

39.5 hrs per work – Day Shift is from 7.30 am to 4.30 pm (depending on language) Monday to Friday. NO Weekend Shift!

Salary:

- Starting Salaries from €19,000 for our Customer Service Position plus Bonus

- Starting Salaries from €21,000 for our Sales Position basic per annum plus sales commission of €100 - €500 per week (depending on targets reached) = €30,000 - €35,000 OTE uncapped commission depending on targets reached.
