Work from home and cover the Benelux region!

Our client is an innovative Chemical company servicing the industry with a strong portfolio of products for over half a century; this company offers a solid foundation for growth. Much of the growth is down to a focus on R&D with high performing materials and return on investment. They focus on a number of areas, with a vast number of other market areas and supplying coatings and performance additives to the leading industry names. Biocides included.

They require a strong all rounded Sales and Marketing individual who has solid background of selling into the Pains and Coatings or/and adhesives industry.

Responsibilities will include:

As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibility will be to develop sales and play a central role in selecting an efficient sales and marketing strategy. This is specifically for the paints, coatings and adhesives market. It is therefore essential you come from that background and are familiar with such products.

Reporting into the Director of the department, you will be required to manage budgets, build relationships with key clients and maintain such relationships across the Benelux region.

Uniquely this is a position with minimal supervision giving you the autonomy needed to develop and grow the sales of our client products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Scientific discipline.

* Minimum five years of increasing sales experience within specialty chemical industry.

* Experience in biocide or additives segment strongly preferred.

* Experience preferably in the coatings, paints and adhesive segment.

* Fluency in English is essential. Dutch, French or German is a bonus.

* Willing to travel at least 50%

* Valid driver's license required.

* Good computer skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.

* Team player who is able to prioritize opportunities and think strategically.
