Job description Supply Chain Analyst

The SC Analyst position hold 2 key roles :

- Coordination of inventory controlling, including obsolescence management.

- Back up to the supply planner. This position requires effective coordination with the Buyer, Demand Planner, Production Plants, Group Procurement and vendors. The Supply Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling and resolving issues constraining the supply plan of raw materials in order to satisfy production demands and targeted inventory levels in a timely manner.
Key Accountabilities

- Supply chain controlling - Concentrates Inventory Control coordination with Procurement, Production planning, Demand Planning and finance.

- Coordinating tracking of delisting and NPD
- Support in S&OP process
- Participation in the pre-S&OP meetings
- As back up to material planner, anticipate possible constraints of materials to deliver sales plan.
- Support to SC & Finance Project Manager in preparing pre-S&OP packs.

- Back up to Material Planner o Review SAP MRP on a daily basis. Communicate all (possible) material shortages and changes of the existing purchase plan to the Production Planning team and Procurement team.
- Manage all purchase orders by issuing, confirming, tracking and expediting orders in a timely manner to maintain appropriate stock levels to support Production and targeted inventory levels.
- Manage 3rd party Plants ensuring ingredients are delivered and productions are scheduled according to customers demand.
- Review blocked invoices to prevent overcharges for raw materials. Resolve invoice discrepancies in SAP to promptly pay vendors for goods delivered.
- Communicate globally and coordinating sourcing issues with Buyer, Plants and Group Procurement; update vendor and material info record master data accordingly and ensuring material master accuracy.
- Coordinates with Quality Control teams at the Plants to manage raw material rejections ensuring the return of defect raw material back to the supplier and documents the vendor's corrective and preventive action.

- Coordination implementation new business
- Coordinate the Supply Chain and finance teams in ensuring all masterdata/ costing/ pricing/ ordering process/procurement process are ready on timely basis for start of new businesses.

Others
- Support to Supply Chain & Finance Project Manager in tracking production strategy impact
- Support during budgeting and forecasting process for Materials planning

KPI’s
- Stocks Management under control - issues anticipated and flagged early on for action
- Delisting process under control and minimized obsolescence costs.
- S&OP packs are prepared monthly
- Obsolescence generated is less than x% stock value
- Able to step in as back up to material planner when needed.

Job requirements Supply Chain Analyst

Requirements to your profile

- Bachelor Degree required (or equivalent).
- Next to English, must dominate Spanish language (preferably native); Dutch and French are an advantage.
- Familiar with Supply Chain principles and inventory management processes.
- Analytical, detail oriented, and yet able to prioritize the areas needing focus.
- Must constantly look for ways to improve the process in order to reduce lead-time and eliminate non-value-added activities.
- Good communication skills in transversal organization
- Have a good sense of urgency and work towards customer satisfaction with a strong sense of ownership.
- Multicultural mindset, able to multitask and to effectively work with diversified teams yet equally able to work autonomously.
- Team player
- Knowledge in SAP modules Sales and Plant Organization Data and Material Master Data is an advantage
- Background in supply chain finance is an advantage
