    • Main Responsibilities:

    This organization is investing significant funds in digital printing as a result there is a new opportunity for a field based Digital Press Product Specialist:

    Field Digital Press Product Specialist:

  • Become the key contact person for current digital press beta site in Belgium

  • Provide technical support to customer including:

  • Web control, workflow, printing ancillaries such as UV curing



  • Gather data relating to the press performance e.g. colour control, output, technical issues

  • Provide training and guidance on the operation of the digital press

  • Following the digital press beta site success, support further installations into the European territory.


    • New Product Validation:



  • Conduct defined tests for new product developments at site and in UK

  • Work with the UK team on ensuring new products meet customer needs

  • Support development activities both in the field and at HQ


    • Education:



  • City and Guilds Electrical Installations (BS:7671:2008) 17th Edition – equivalent or higher

  • City and Guilds Level 5 or equivalent or higher engineering qualification preferred


    • Experience:



  • Photoshop design package experience - Preferred

  • Direct digital printing experience - Compulsory

  • Esko work flow experienced - Preferred

  • X rite colour management trained – experienced with i1and io tools - Preferred

  • Capable of profiling medias to meet international colour standards - Preferred

  • 4 colour? digital press development or support experience – Compulsory

  • Industrial inkjet knowledge - Compulsory

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Structured and organised approach in identifying problems through to solution

  • Eye for detail

  • Interested in understanding how things work, in order that they work correctly

  • Self motivated

  • Microsoft excel and word literate

  • Understanding of the impacts of media, UV and other printing variables in the printing process
