Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe, located in Tilburg, is looking for an engineer with a broad knowledge of Gas Separation Mebrane Modules to optimize the modules for a better performance.
Fujifilm Manufacturing Europe B.V. in Tilburg is with approximately 1000 employees one of the largest Fujifilm production facilities of photographic materials. Aside from the production of photographic material, Fujifilm Tilburg develops new products for existing and new markets. Gas Separation Membranes is one of these new products.
Description
In the New Product Development (NPD) section, as part of Tilburg Research Laboratory we want to strengthen our module design and optimization engineering knowledge. This will be applied into innovative Gas Membrane developments. We need an experienced engineer in the field of process simulations incorporating membrane models to optimize module design configurations, model validations, parametric and economic analysis to reach low gas processing costs and for establishing efficient evaluations of the performance of gas separation modules.
Responsibilities
- Designing and actual development of improved Spiral Wound module configurations.
- Setting up computer modelling and simulation activities related to evaluation of module design parameters and sources of inefficiency.
- Validation by experimental field test data of computational simulation of spiral wound module configurations.
- Experimental confirmation of modelling, module making and performing actual evaluation tests with a simplified evaluation system.
- Contribute to new concepts and protocols in optimizing in-house ?module evaluation method(s).
