Are you the Credit Representative who speaks English and 2 other languages fluently? Do you have sufficient understanding of financial accounting concepts to assess credit risks and to evaluate business opportunities? Maybe we are looking for you!

For one of our clients we are looking for a Credit Representative. The Credit Representative will manage customer accounts, which includes establishing credit limits, analyzing financial status, monitoring collections, and communicating with customers and internal business partners, to effectively manage risk for the company's investment in accounts receivable and to achieve business strategies.

Tasks & responsibilities
•Analyzing customer financial position in order to establish and maintain credit lines/limits for trade customers
•Leading multifunctional group as needed to solve specific customer credit problems
•Proactively interfacing with the customer to identify and resolve account issues
•Understanding business growth needs in order to help qualify potential customers and establishing country and regional credit policies and limits
•Monitoring accounts for changes in payment behavior, change in business indicators
•Interacting with customers (by phone, e-mail and in person) as needed
•Reviewing and processing customer orders
•Collaborating with business, sales and customer support personnel to manage customer relationships for overall benefit of company
•Following-up on customer accounts for collection
•Assessing the need for outside assistance to collect delinquent accounts receivables
•Performing analysis and providing results for special requests with credit/risk implications

Skills and education
•Commercial school education of HBO/HEAO level as a minimum, preferably in a finance, accounting, supply chain or international business field
•Knowledge of general credit and financial concepts related to credit and risk management, preferably 2-3 years of professional credit experience in a multinational and multicultural environment.
•Fluent in English and preferably 2 of the following languages: Dutch, French, German or Italian
•Independent worker and self-starter
•Advanced usage of Excel/other Microsoft Office products
•Effective communication skills (both verbal & written)
•Solid critical thinking and sound decision making skills
•Proactive in identifying and resolving customer account issues in a timely manner
•Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
•Ability to manage simultaneous work assignments in stressful situations
•Attention to detail requiring high level of accuracy
•Good time management and prioritization skills
•Effective, customer-focused representative of the company while interacting with customers and credit associations
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team and diverse multiple nationality environment
•Results driven with strong follow-through
