Job descriptionThe Analytical Development Validation section (65 fte) contains the Method Development & Process Support group. For this group we are looking for analytical scientists for a special project.
Your main tasks:
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for the identification and characterization of complex glycoproteins;
- Used techniques: LC and MS
- Perform critical evaluation of analytical data against scientific standards;
- Prepare and deliver oral and written technical reports for regulatory purposes;
- Participate in analytical teams.
This position is now for a temporary period: starting per direct and ending at the end of December 2013. This project might be prolonged.
Job requirementsFor the vacancy of Senior Analytical Scientist we are looking for laboratory professionals with the following background and experience:
- MSc in analytical (bio)chemistry (or PhD with the drive to work in the laboratory);
- Practical experience with liquid chromatography (preferably to identify and characterize complex glycoproteins);
- Practical experience with mass spectrometry;
- Knowledge of basic statistical data evaluation;
- Be fluent in English (oral and written).
Period: until end of December 2013
Salary indication: Euro 3200 - Euro 3700 gross per month
Fultime (40 hrs/week)
