OBJECTIVE:

•???????? Provide pre- and post Sale technical support of IGT casino gaming systems remotely and at customer locations by effectively applying knowledge concerning database maintenance, configuring networks, supporting operating systems, and creating technical documentation in support of installation projects.

•???????? Perform routine maintenance and performance monitoring of customer’s systems. Interact directly with customers, users, and casino technical services to ensure customer satisfaction during installation, go-live, and ongoing service during maintenance and support tasks.
REQUIREMENTS:

•???????? Hardware and software experience including PC configuration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and network administration (min. 1-2 years)

•???????? Knowledge of all Microsoft Windows Server Products (2000/2003/2008), Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (XP Pro, Windows 7), and all SQL Server products (2000/2005/2008) up to Enterprise versions

•???????? Knowledge of VMWare would be beneficial

•???????? Database experience is essential. ?Preferably this should include Microsoft SQL Server, SQL scripts, DTS packages, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS

•???????? Must be proficient in written as well as spoken English

•???????? Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization

•???????? Participation in the Out of Hours support team is required

•???????? Excellent organisational skills

•???????? Ability to travel to customer’s sites as required, which may be for extended periods

•???????? Education level:?Degree in Information Systems or equivalent working experience

•???????? Willingness to continuously expand knowledge of all IGT systems products and 3rd party products

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?

•???????? Regular Monitoring of customers’ casino systems; reporting and/or resolving any irregularities.

•???????? Keep customer configuration documentation up to date

•???????? Assist in configuring and implementing new customer systems at both IGT offices and customers’ sites

•???????? Get involved new systems installations to gain confidence in IGT gaming products

•???????? Installation of PC’s, Windows servers, virtual infrastructures including MS SQL Server

•???????? Installation of network hardware and software as per IGT standard installation practices

•???????? Installation and configuration of relevant third party hardware and software

•???????? Maintenance upgrades. These may be performed on a regular basis, as per the software maintenance agreement, or following requests from the customer

•???????? Create and execute ad hoc SQL scripts to resolve customers’ data-related issues
