Are you ready for a challenging Financial Accountant position? Do you have proven experience in a standalone accounting position with start to end responsibility? Are you pro active, accurate and can you deal with reporting deadlines?
For one of our international clients we are looking for a Financial Accountant. As a Financial Accountant you will provide accounting services for the EMEA region. The ideal person has a degree in Finance / Accounting, a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting position and has full command of the English language.

Tasks and responsibilities
•By the end of each week the accounts must be up to date
•Produce the Monthly Management Report no later than the 3rd working day in the following month
•Responsible for all aspects of accounting from transaction posting to reporting
•Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions
•Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
•Reconcile general ledger accounts
•Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
•Reconciliation and confirmation of intercompany balances each month
•Prepare supporting schedules for the audit
•VAT, tax, statutory and other regulatory filings
•Manage the head office administration (i.e. stationary and consumables etc.)
•Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and education
•An Accounting qualification on HBO level
•Proven experience in an accounting role with start to end responsibility
•A minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting position
•Strong adherence to reporting deadlines
•Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel
•Experience in Navision and JET Reports can be advantageous
•Good English language skills both written and oral

•A fulltime (40 hours) position in an international environment

•Gross annual salary between € 40K – 45K depending on your age and experience
