For one of our clients we are looking for a Logistics Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in 3PL. As a Logistics Analyst you are responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our Third Party Logistics Provider. You will monitor their daily activities, give guidance, advise and direction and secure their performance on handling the fulfillment of our customer orders. The role of Logistics Analyst is focused on warehousing and transportation.

Tasks & responsibilities
•Possess an in-depth understanding of truck and air logistics networks for high-value goods.
•Monitor Third Party Logistics Providers (3PL) execution of the fulfillment process and secure agreed delivery requirements, on time shipping, on time proof of delivery and inventory accuracy
•Work closely with NetApp internal departments and our Third Party Logistics Provider on resolving delivery and quality issues.
•Analyze traffic lanes to identify patterns in freight movements (costs, service levels, special requests)
•Interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.
•Maintain logs and compile information on routes, rates and services on various vendors.
•Responsible for often non-routine and unstructured tasks , requiring creative solutions.
•Apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems.


Skills and education
•At least 5 years experience working with 3PL (warehouse + transport)
•Used to email intensive and responsive environment
•Fluent in English
•Good knowledge of carrier business and warehousing processes
•Preferably worked in the high value electronics business
•Preferably Oracle knowledge
•Experienced in Excel
•A minimum 2 years of experience is required; 5 years of experience is preferred.
•A Bachelor Degree is required or equivalent experience.
•Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
