We are recruiting for the vacancy of Transport IP Network Design Engineer.

- The Transport (IP)Network Design Engineer is responsible for all detail design, data fill of the IP network
- IP network (e.g. IP Core, IP backhaul, etc…)
- The Transport (IP) Network Design Engineer will translate the transport network high level designs as defined by the Solution department into ready to implement low level designs.
Key results
- Provide low level designs, including the planned services for the IP transport network (including Mobile access Transmission IP network, Core Transmission and IP core network)
- Provide “in time“ Data builds (i.e. Planned configurations) for the different Transport network solutions ( including Mobile access Transmission, Core Transmission and IP network)
- Configuration management of the whole IP Transport network infrastructure end to end.
- Design efficient and cost effective dimensioned IP network infrastructure
- Give the 3rd line support of problems in the transport (IP) network end to end.
- Support Network Architecture and Solution teams within Network infrastructure department in various IP core network projects
- Create Request For Changes based on Change Requests and designs for the IP core network.
Challenges
Achieving a high transport network quality and substantial cost efficiency/reduction in an environment with new technological developments, fast growing capacity demands, increasing customer expectation……is a true challenge.
Designing of a cost-efficient future proof end to end Transport backhaul network.
